Year 2
As the year 2 enter the final year in the Foundation Phase they have moved into the bigger of the two classroom spaces for the majority of their teaching and learning. As well as focus lessons from their teachers and PSW's they have enjoyed the challenges that are set that help consolidate their learning and allow them to work independently. This term the theme is Transport and so far they have enjoyed making vehicles and painting and appraising Art work based on paintings of different forms of transpot found on the internet.
They have also enjoyed drawing maps and plans of the woodland area showing the journey we made in response to the 'Monkey Puzzle' story by Julia Donaldson. Thankfully we found the Mummy Monkey for the poor last baby!
